Terms and Conditions
of Use of Facilities
(Detailed Regulations for Facility Use)

  1. All areas of the facility
    Smoking is prohibited throughout the facility. Please use the designated smoking areas.
    Eating and drinking are prohibited outside of designated areas.
  2. Hexagonal Hall "Rokkakudo"
    1. 1st floor hall
      1. Guests who can use the cafe
        For those who use cafe Kurahachi, those who purchase goods at the shop, and those who stay at lodge "Kurayado Akaganeno-Yume", you are free to use the hall as you like. However, please note that we cannot accept your request during the exhibition at the gallery or when the hall is reserved for workshops,
      2. Book Collection in the Hall
        Please read the books in the hall and do not check them out.
      3. Use as an event space
        The hall can be rented out as a workshop or meeting space for a fee. The hall is equipped with a large screen, projector, and sound system.
      4. Opening Hours
        Kurayado Akaganeno-yume guests: 8:00 - 21:00
        Other guests: 11:00-17:00

    2. 2nd floor Gallery
      1. Period of use
        The gallery can be used on a daily basis for a fee. Please make a reservation at least one week in advance. The gallery is available for use from 11:00 to 17:00. Please set up and take down within this time frame. If you need to set up the day before and take down the day after, please note that the day of set up and take down will also be the day of use.
      2. Sale of goods and management of exhibits
        Please use the 1st floor hall for the sale of goods. Please use the hall on the 1st floor for selling goods, etc. The users are responsible for the management of goods and money. If you are going to be in the gallery for more than one day, please lock the entrance air strip on the 2nd floor to keep the exhibits inside the gallery.
      3. Setting up the display
        Please use the hooks attached to the rails at the top to hang the exhibits on the wall. Please refrain from cutting or double-sided taping to the walls. Please check these conditions before use.
      4. Please refer to the fee schedule at the end of this document for the usage fee.
    3. Rooftop
      1. You can go up to the rooftop by the exterior stairs of the Hexagonal Hall. Please use the entrance to the rooftop when it is open and accessible.
      2. Eating and drinking are prohibited on the rooftop without special permission.
  3. Lodge "Kurayado Akaganeno-Yume"
    1. Accommodation Fee
      The maximum number of persons per room is the same as the maximum number of guests per room. We recommend a maximum of 7 people.
      The rates are based on the number of people staying in one building per night and include breakfast.
      Please refer to the separate price list for rates.
    2. The counter on the first floor is equipped with an induction cooking heater, refrigerator, ice maker, and glasses and tableware.
    3. Please refrain from moving furniture and fixtures in the room.
    4. Check-in at 3:00 p.m. Check-out at 10:00 p.m.
      A surcharge will be applied for use of rooms before or after these hours.
    5. Dinner is not provided.
      We can recommend restaurants in the area, so please feel free to contact us. We may also be able to provide catering service or boxed lunches, so please feel free to contact us.
  4. cafe Kurahachi
    1. Private Use
      cafe Kurahachi is available for private use for a fee. In addition to the regular menu, catering service and boxed lunches may be available, so please consult with us.
    2. Please refer to the fee schedule at the end of this document for the usage fee.
  5. Holding events in the patio
    1. We can also provide private use of the patio for a fee, so please feel free to contact us.
    2. Please refer to the price list at the end of this page.
  6. Use as a venue for photography and videography
    1. Portrait photography in the patio (including the garden in front of the front gate and main building)
      1. For private use by visitors to the facilities: free of charge with a word to the staff
      2. For commercial use: prior permission and charge
      3. Groups using the facilities for photo sessions, etc. without reserving them for their own use: prior permission and fee required
      4. For private use: prior permission and fee required
    2. Portrait photography in the patio, Kurayado, Rokkakudo, and Café
      1. For use without reserving the entire premises: prior permission and fee
      2. Groups using the space for photo sessions, etc. without reserving the entire space: prior permission and fee required

    3. When using the facilities for commercial purposes ⇨Pre-approval, fee required.
    4. Note: Due to cleaning and guest services, the hours of use of the lodge are limited, so please consult with us in advance.
    5. Please consult with us in advance. If you wish to take pictures without reserving the entire premises, please be considerate of other users.
